Anita

Anita

Anita is 5 years old. She has one older sister named Mirab, who is 7 years old. Mirab and Anita's family is very undependable and the girls need a place to call their home. The sisters will be admitted into the girls' home together, and they are excited about going to school. They are very sweet, cute girls.

Anjli

Anjli

Anjli is 7 years old. She has one older brother and one younger brother. Anjli and her brothers previously lived with their aunt and her four children, however due to very crowded conditions, this is not the ideal living situation for the children. Anjli's older brother was admitted to the boy's home one month ago, and Anjli is very excited about the opportunity to live in the girls' home and continue her education.

Annam

Annam

Annam is 14 years old. She has two older sisters who are both already married. Annan has only been educated to a 5th grade level, as she had to stop her schooling due to expenses. Annan lost her father to a heart attack, and her mother is sick with high blood pressure. Annan helps her mother in her job of gathering flowers, and has a great desire to study more.

Arzoo

Arzoo

Arzoo is 7 years old. She has four brothers and sisters. Arzoo lost her father to cancer, and her mother has been trying to work for multiple families as a maid to provide for her children. She is unable to afford anything but the necessities to live, therefore cannot afford education. One of Arzoo's brothers is a cripple, and has also applied for admission into the boys' home. Arzoo is very happy about the opportunity to live in the girls' home, and said upon seeing the boys' home for the first time, she said “how beautiful is this house and I will also live this type of house!”

Ashi

Ashi

Ashi is 13 years old and is deaf and dumb. She lives with her very poor parents in a village. She has 4 other siblings who are all relatively healthy. Her family is Christian, and her parents are very worried about her because they are unable to support her with any income to help give her a better future. There was a similar case in the boys' house eight years ago, and a special teacher was hired for him. This same experience will be provided for Ashi, and the girls' home will do the best they can to provide support for her and to arrange for a special teacher and school system for her.

Babli

Babli

Babli is 13 years old. She has two younger brothers. Babli's mother died during her childhood and her father is not an adequate caregiver. The three children live with their grandparents, but the the children are becoming a burden to them because of their old age. Babli has finished 5th grade and greatly desires to continue her education in the girls' home.

Chanda

Chanda

Chanda and Zerry are two sisters ages 8 and 6 years old. Their father has tuberculosis and is unable to do any work. The necessities such as food are very hard for them because the focus of the whole family is the medical treatment of the father. They have one elder brother 15 years old and one younger brother 3 years old. The mother and elder brother labor in the field as helpers of a farmer to provide for the family and purchase the medicine for the father. Chanda and Zerry are very interested in school. They are in Prep and Nursery classes and want to continue but it is very difficult for the mother to bear the school expenses because the medicine of her husband is most important.

Iqra

Iqra

Iqra is 11 years old. She has two older brothers- the oldest is 16 years old and the next is completing the 5th grade. Iqra's mother is deaf and dumb, and is therefore unable to provide for their family. After losing her father to tuberculosis, Iqra's brother has been trying to support the family, but has struggled since he is uneducated. Iqra's 5th grade brother has been admitted to the boy's home, and Iqra is very excited about entering the girls home to live and to continue her education.

Kinat

Kinat

Kinat is 12 years old. She has one younger brother who is 7 years old. He is currently studying and living at the boys' home. Kinat's mother works as a maid in a factory and is greatly discriminated against because she is a Christian. She is able to provide her children with just enough to get by, but cannot afford education. Kinat is a very beautiful girl and she is very happy to go to live in the girls' home and continue her education.

Kinat

Kinat is 13 years old. She has two brothers who are already living and studying at the boys' home. Kinat's father was tragically killed by a fight that broke out during the night. Her mother was very upset by his death, and developed high blood pressure. Kinat lost her mother 3 years after her fathers death. She values an education and desires to continue her studies. She is very glad that she will have a chance to study in the girls house like her brothers are already doing in the boys'.

Margaret

Margaret

Margaret is 6 years and her younger brother Markus is 4 years old. Their mother died at the delivery of Markus.
Their father wants to work but the children would be alone at home. He is unable to work at any job without leaving the children alone and hungry all day.

Mehvish

Mehvish

Mehvish's age is not known for sure, but we assume she is around 13 years old. She has 4 siblings. Mehvish stopped her education after the 5th grade, because her mother could not afford any more. Mehvish lost her father to an illness, and her mother has been working as a cleaner to support her five children. Mehvish is excited about receiving an education and living in the girls' home.

Mirab

Mirab is 7 years old. She has one younger sister named Anita, who is 5 years old. Mirab and Anita's family is very undependable and the girls need a place to call their home. The sisters will be admitted into the girls' home together, and they are excited about going to school. They are very sweet, cute girls.

Muskan

Muskan is 8 years old. She has one older brother who is 11 years old and a younger brother who is 4 years old. Muskan's mother died during childbirth, and so Muskran and her younger brother have been living with their elderly grandparents. Muskran's older brother has been admitted to the boys' home, and has been living and studying there for some time. Muskran has a very high interest in her studies, and says that she is very happy to go live and study in the girls' home, especially because he brother is living in the boys' home.

Neha

Neha

Neha is 6 years old. She has 4 brothers and sisters. Neha lost her father to Hepatitis C, and her mother and older sister are very busy working as housekeepers for many other families. Neha loves to learn and wants to study, but is unable to afford education. She is very excited to come to the girls home to go to school and get an education. She is a very cute and happy girl.

Nelum

Nelum's age is not known for certain, though we would assume she is around 3 or 4. Nelum has an older sister named Sana, who is about 7 or 8. Nelum's mother died when she was born, and her father works extremely long hours every day as a helper to building constructers. He has no time to care for the girls, so Sana has been Nelum's sole caretaker. These girls need a loving place to stay, and will be placed into the girls' home where they can be cared for.

Qandeel

Qandeel

Qandeel is 7 years old. She has two younger sisters named Tabeer, who is 5 years old, and one younger sister named Mishal, who is 3 years old. Their father died of a heart attack one year ago, and their mother works a very difficult job in the fields. They do not have a permanent home, so they are living in a rental house. Qandeel and Tabeer will be placed in the girls' home together, with plans for Mishal to join them once she is older.

Samin

Samin

Samin's exact age is unknown, however we believe her to be around 11 years old. She has only studied up until the 5th grade. Samin has an older sister and brother, both of which are now married. Samin lost her father, and her mother suffers from asthma. She labors in the fields to provide for her family, but they struggle to make a living. Her mother is unable to help her further her education, so Samin is very interested in studying more at the girls home.

Sana's age is not known for certain, though we would assume she is around 7 or 8. Sana has a little sister named Nelum, who is about 3 or 4. Sana's mother died when Nelum was born, and her father works extremely long hours every day as a helper to building constructers. Sania has one brother who is currently living in the boys' home. Sania's mother is struggling to provide her children with food and education, and they are living in a rental home. Sania is very glad for the opportunity to study in the girls' home.

Shakeela and Tanzeela are two sisters ages 12 and 7 years old. They have one younger brother 5 years old. Their father was employed in as a conductor. One day there was a sudden and dangerous road accident and his head was injured badly and he died in the hospital.
The mother is an uneducated housewife. After the death of her husband she unwillingly started to work, cleaning in Muslim’s homes to provide for the family. Daily she works for 3 different families. Before the death of the father the elder girl Shakeela was going to school. Since the death of her father she goes with her mother to clean homes.

Simrun

Simrun

Simrun is 8 years old. She has one brother who is 6 years old. Her mother left Simrun and her brother with their father to return to her home and marry another man. Simrun's father is not able to care for her due to his lifestyle, and she and her brother need someone to take care of them. Simrun is excited about the opportunity to come to the girls' home.

Tabeer is 5 years old. She has one older sister named Qandeel, who is 7 years old, and one younger sister named Mishal, who is 3 years old. Warda is 11 years old. She is currently studying in her village at the 5th grade level. Her father works as a vendor, going through villages street by street selling toffees, candies and biscuits. His job is not very profitable, but he is managing to support his family. It is her parents greatest desire that Warda continue her education. She is currently in the 5th grade and this will be her last year, as they cannot afford any more. Warda's diligence and devotion to her studies is impressive, and she has a dream of becoming an airline stewardess someday. The opening of a girls home is wonderful news for Warda and her parents, and she is very excited for this opportunity.
